Heh, I almost can't believe I'm 42. I really didn't think I'd make it to 20, let alone 40-something with the life I've lived. There were so many moments that if I made the wrong move, I'dve been toast. Not to mention... y'know. But here I am, still alive, with a pretty unorthodox but loving family, and a new son. Man, it's really hard to resist the urge to be like Jet and shove pictures of him in everyone's face. XD I wonder if 'Lise wouldn't mind if I took him to the Federation for a day or two to show him off to Tails an' his family. Tails should get to meet his little brother nephew.

Speaking of His Royal Wetness, I think that crying means he needs a diaper change. Later!

GOING TO SOLEANNA BRB

I've been hearin' through old contacts that there may be some big trouble comin'. Seems the loose ends that didn't get tied up durin' the Doom's Evangelists fiasco may be comin' back to haunt us. Nothin' confirmed for sure, from what I've heard, but I know Saff's real stressed out by this. Can't blame her, tho'; all of us have our scars from back then. Heh, it was a real fuckin' disaster...

I hate t'be a pessimist, but it's been entirely too quiet lately. Somethin's gotta happen; if not this, then somethin' else city/country/world/other world/whatever-threatening. I'm too much of a weirdness magnet for things to stay quiet whenever I'm around. I just hope it'll stay quiet 'til 'Lise has our kid... I'd like to spend a little time with the Soleanna branch of the family before everything goes to hell again.

I dunno, maybe I'm just not used to peace an' quiet. I can't remember a single point in my life where I was just able to relax for a good while without some powerful ancient being or mad scientist or giant robots or aliens didn't drop outta nowhere and make trouble. Seriously, I'm amazed that I'm not more paranoid about this shit than I already am. =\

So, looks like one of the kid mes met up with Shahra and is stuck in the world of the Arabian Nights. More and more pages in the book are going blank, but if the kid's anything like I was when I was younger, they should be back to normal anytime.

In the mean time, I've been takin' a look around his world. Tails--er, my Tails--was right; aside from some albums coming out before they did in our world, it looks more or less like our own 20-somethin' years ago. Kinda cool, really. I wonder if I can find this world's Jet and annoy the hell out of him. XD Kinda wanna see the doc of this time, too.

... man, it's been a while since I talked to my world's doc. I should visit him when General Asshole's not around.

Anyway, on the down side, I got an eyeful of that video the kid me got sent that got him so wound up. Miles Davis Prower, you're an asshole. DO NOT MOTHER-FUCKING WANT. D= Can't blame the kid Tails, tho'; he only did what his older self told him to do.

Heh, happy new year a little late, everyone. Got distracted by the antics of a drunken echidna--who needs to learn his limits; poor guy was sick as a dog the next day--then the kid me's new addiction made me wanna break out the old Elite Beat Agents games. The Grateful Dead level in the second game is still awesome~ Y'know, I never tried to play this level high... I'd probably fail the mission before best part, tho'. But that's what Replay Saves are for! =D

Man, so many tall buildings around... I just wanna run down one like old times, but it'd probably give Jet an' Red heart attacks if I did it so I'll have to wait until they're not looking~ =D.

I just can't seem to sit still anymore. Why couldn't I have been this way in the summer, when there wasn't ice and slush and snow everywhere? Trying to run in that crap sucks, and I'm finally somewhere warm! To take a little late run or stay where it's warm; that is the question...

I... I ended up goin' to Casino Park to talk to my dad. Y'know, t'introduce Jet t'him an' ask him about this other half-sister I recently learned about that came outta an affair he had with some peahen dancer chick. WTF, if Elias's girlfriend was a bird too, I'd swear it's in our DNA to wanna screw pretty birds stuff. So, of course, dad bein' dad, he had to bust out the embarrassing stories an' pictures for Jet. The feathery green bastard was way to amused by dad, an' Red wasn't helpin' matters with his suggestin' stories for dad to tell. D=

There was one pretty funny moment, tho'. Jet learned never to let ol' "Aero the Hedgehog" anywhere near the Nebuchadthingy's controls unless he wants to find out if the ol' girl can do a barrel roll. I just about died laughin'. XD

... an' as for the rest of my wanderin'? God, I realized just how much I missed just... pickin' up an' goin' wherever. It's hard t'believe it wasn't that long ago that I was too down t'do this. Heheh, it's pretty amazin' how far I've come. Thanks, everyone, for helpin' this old crazy bastard back up again.
